Hello I’m Emma, founder of Word Play Speech Therapy and a passionate and experienced Speech & Language Therapist.

 

I founded Word Play Speech Therapy alongside my current role within the NHS to provide accessible and timely services in order to help children meet their full communication potential.

My Background

I have over 9 years experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist in the NHS, and have gained a vast amount of experience working with children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs.

I have been fortunate to work across a range of clinical settings including early years, patient homes, clinics, mainstream and specialist school provisions.

BSc (Hons) Speech & Language Therapy (University of Reading, 2011)

Member of the Health and Care Professionals council

Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)

Registered member of Association of Speech and Language Therapists in independent practice.

When I’m not working you will find me at the beach, running or hanging with my husband and little dog Chester!
